DIY Kayak LED lights install
I install some Amazon LED lights in my kayak a Old Town sportsman so I can do some fishing at night. instead of paying a high price for a kit I just do it my self on a budget! So if you are in the same boat no pun indented, check out this video with links below to what I used.

Better clean you airator and fill and drain tubes. We had a guy clean his and then fished a big tournament. He failed to run the system and killed 5 large fish. He was sick 😢
Yea I flush it with clean water, and once I put in and getting ready for blast off I will run lake water through the system too before putting fish in.

i started with 1500 grit to be safe. But I had barely even touched it and started seeing black. idk what I could have done wrong but, I gues I'm repainting mine

@@FerenzeeBlazingReaprthen I would try wetsand 1500 - 2500 - 3000 and then clearcoat in again. If spray can I would highly recommed 2K spraymax clear coat, nothing else. The shine in 2K is insane to be a spraycan. Otherwise I would spray it in a gun. All other 1k regular clearcoat spraycans is garbage and waste of money. Wouldnt even buffed it lol.
@@FerenzeeBlazingReaprI do not 100% know what you mean with cloudy? If its matt after sanding is totaly normal. If its orange peely I would still sand it like I said above and then clear coat it. Just bad spraypaint job I guess.
I have concern about the feed. You have no way of knowing what's in it...and if it comes from China, well i.dont want to eat those fish. Who knows what's in that.

I have 30 pound braided as main and 20 pound fluoro as leader would you recommend using a swivel to connect both or not use a swivel and connect them directly?
If you do recommend a swivel what size and how strong would you say to get for 20 pound fluoro leader

Nope not at all, it has been working great. If I could do it again though I would have gotten the 7 instead of the 5 for a little bigger screen.

Been comparing these DryCode and another I cant recall the name of....but these DryCodes are in the lead and spring is coming.....I am going with the DryCode.
I had them for a year now and they are still holding up, and we been getting a lot of muddy days down here

no not really, its out of the way enough i have never hit it. plus im pedaling more than i am paddling.
